Giving Thanks

Many people have been asking me for years to start a blog, that they would love to hear some of the stories about what happens on the Wave & what is going on in Houston. So here it goes. My first blog, but I can't promise it won't be my last or that I will botch it totally. Any feedback, advice, ideas, guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanksgiving Eve is known by bar owners to be their make it or break it night for the year. They hope that people will be partying "like it is 1999". Last night in Houston not so much. People were out, but not in the way bar and restaurant owners would have liked. Maybe it is b/c the Texans were playing their first ever Thanksgiving Day game SUPER early & most places are going to be open for it. Who knows. But if I am to judge what tomorrow night brings based on history, EVERYONE will be going out & lines, traffic, cops will be awful. So my recommendation today is to give thanks that The Wave will in fact be running tomorrow starting at 5pm. Plan ahead, call 30-45 in advance & get your drank on safely.

And today, while you are with your friends and family, yall make sure you reserve your Wave Holiday Lights Tour as the spots are going quickly & the press release hasn't even gone out. You can register by going to http://waveholidaylightstour.eventbrite.com

Happy Thanksgiving. Good stories to come...
